About the role

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement multi-echelon inventory optimization policies to balance service levels with cost minimization for spares.
  • Utilize statistical and machine learning models (leveraging predictive data) to generate highly accurate, long-term spare parts demand forecasts.
  • Develop and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management plan, from initial provisioning to part retirement, to mitigate excess and obsolete risk.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and negotiation of critical spares, and optimize the global distribution network for time-critical shipments.
  • Interface with Engineering and Finance to align spare parts strategy with asset uptime goals, own enterprise resource planning/computerized maintenance management system data integrity, and provide executive performance reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 7 years of experience in MRO Spares Planning, service logistics, or inventory optimization within an operational environment.
  • 5 years of experience driving programs in cloud infrastructure.
  • 5 years of experience with a Tier 1 ERP system (e.g., SAP) for inventory, and with data analysis tools like SQL.

Benefits

  • 401k matching
  • Health insurance
  • Equity
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Stock options
  • Flexible work arrangements
